Get the Look: Ali from the Bachelorette

Over the past couple months, America has watched the Bachelorette, Ali, struggle with finding the love of her life. With her choice of either Roberto or Chris being revealed on Monday (August 2 at 8 p.m.), we felt it was appropriate to feature America’s most beloved single girl on Get the Look.

Ali’s all about the girl-next-door look, but she can dress it up when it’s date night!

The Casual Look

Ali even said herself on one episode that she’s a jeans and t-shirt girl! For an everyday look, try a pair of nice, straight cut jeans (nothing too fancy, of course!) with a cute loose top! Ali likes loose hanging tops, so find something with a tunic feel to it. Add a necklace with a long chain for a little bling! Make sure the necklace isn’t distracting because Ali’s look is so simple. Find a colorful pair of athletic shoes as well!

As for hair and make-up, a natural beach look would work best. Have your hair loosely tousled and make-up to a minimum. (Ali usually lightly lines her top lashes and uses mascara. Her cheeks are always full of life! Wear some blush on the apples of your cheeks for a fresh glow!)

The Date-Night Look

Ali continues to her simple look with classic cut clothing. For the Rose Ceremonies, we see her in a lot of tunic-like dresses, shift dresses, and dresses with simple lines. Ali hates being over-done and rarely wears jewelry, but her dress can hold its own.

More Tips on How to Dress Like Ali

  • Her favorite color is yellow! Try to incorporate it as much as possible!
  • She likes to wear button-ups, especially plaid button-ups.
  • Ali has a romantic element to her dress. Try to find feminine looking things.
  • She wears a lot of sequins and muted colors.
  • Ali likes to wear Greek- and Roman-inspired clothing, like dresses.
  • She usually is always wearing Converse in fun colors.

Here’s a video tutorial on how to get beachy looking hair like Ali’s! (I know her hair looks big, but it will fall! And it will look natural and not teased!)
