“Project Runway” Returns on the 28th!

So many twists this season! Here are some deets from Lifetime.com…

In a “Project Runway” first, during the premiere episode, 20 designers must go in front of Heidi, Michael, Nina and Tim to make a case why they deserve one of the 16 coveted spots this season. Once they are chosen, the 16 designers barely have a chance to celebrate before being awoken at the crack of dawn with one of the toughest first challenges in the series’ history.

The Material Girl Gets Sued for the Material Girl Line

Madonna, the world’s Material Girl, is being sued by LA Triumph Inc for naming her collection “Material Girl.” Apparently, it is trademark infringement and supposedly, the LA Triumph has had a clothing line for 36 years called “Material Girl.” The company wants authorities to rule as misleading and obtain all profits. This all seems silly seeing that Madonna is the Material Girl. If she has to rename her Macy’s line, what would she call it? “Like a Virgin?”

We are living in a Gaga Nation. It’s undeniable. Ever since the release of her single, “Just Dance,” last summer, America can’t seem to get enough of the Queen of Electro-Pop, Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga’s immense popularity and quirky fashion sense has lead her to dabble in the fashion world and current trends.

Lady Gaga’s style is incredibly easy to recognize–it’s surreal, it’s loud, and it usually does not require pants.
